Going to be hard to shift some players because of their wages, so loans will be quite likely. I don't even begrudge them having their wages made up by Saints...their hard work got us the rapid promotion that made them redundant. Have to honour contracts.

Ok I'll give you Chico, but Hernandez cost £5.5m and Ki was £6m.

I'm not saying I'd be over the moon but it's not a bad deal for them. He's a versatile player who was good enough to be a regular feature for Liverpool, and he's only going to get better.

Why has he been given extra time off?

I didn't read it that way (ie him not being happy). I read it in a much more light hearted way, and just from someone eager and raring to go for a new season (whoever it might be with).

 

Yeah, well at least they were proven at their respective levels. Shelvey however, is sh*te and will always be sh*te.

I'm not sure that him playing for Liverpool means he is good enough to play for Liverpool. Lots and lots and lots of players, and not just in football, play for teams who they arguably aren't good enough to play for.

 

He was very good in the championship, and has been okay in the premier league. He probably isn't good enough for Liverpool, but it's by no means an awful signing for swansea.

Not saying it's true. But if you follow this person he's got pretty much every signing correct so far that he has stated.

 

I think he will do ok, the Liverpool move was obviously not very good for his development at the time, and he could/should have more league appearances under his belt by now really. First league goal for Charlton was against us (according to Wiki) in the 2-3 home defeat, how dreadful was that one.

 

I have been through his twitter feed and have found nothing that has come to fruition yet
