    Just be glad that when PB was put on gardening leave we got Dowie rather than this idiot - I really hope the fans up there boycott a number of home games to show their equally clueless owner they will not put up with him appointing one of his mates, bet if Pardew goes we'll see Dennis Wise back up there as manager.

    This ^^^^^ is just for starters. He has put another pre-Joe deal on ice as he attempts to try and get Kone from Wigan to speak with him. Now if he gets that name wrong Big Joe will be in court quicker than serial killer.

    I wonder why the head of transfers both in and out has gone away on holiday ? Utter madness but very Newcastle.

    They were never in the race. Kone said from the start it was only Everton and Martinez he would leave Wigan for.

    Talk between Lyon and Newcastle are not going well ssn report. Will Big Joe destroy yet more potential signings.

    and didn't Mick Harford choose to become assistant manager of Millwall rather than assistant director of football at Newcastle and he's worked with Joe at Wimbledon, Luton and Nottingham Forest.

    The odds of Newcastle finishing bottom must be dropping fast.

    As has already been said by someone else thank God we got Dowie rather than this clown (who at least has self-belief in his own abilities - pity those abilities fit on the back of a stamp) and i don't think one fan would disagree that Adam Pearson made a good decision at that point in time in steering well clear of the monster that is the kinnear big-head
