Disgusting. What kind of team are Real sending as well? I'd be surprised to see Christiano there.

Quote from the club - "We see the fixture as a well earned gift to our fans for their unwavering dedication to AFC Bournemouth."

    Some gift.

That is ****ing ludicrous. Beyond abysmal. I'd laugh my pretty little pants off if no one turned up, and rightly so at that price. £30 for a child is a complete and utter piss take!

What the fook are Madrid doing playing Bournemouth anyway <laugh>

Chairman's said it'll be the Madrid first team, bar the three lads who played in the Confederations Cup (Arbeloa, Casillas and Ramos).

    I'd pay £20 tops. What a farce.

Current prices for a day on Britain's best beach (Bournemouth) in the middle of summer:

    Season ticket holders: £0
    Adult: £0
    Concession: £0
    U16: £0
Executive: £0 (but you might look a bit daft in a suit)

Only reason I can think that bournemouth are charging so highly for this is, Real Madrid commanded a fee for the friendly, bournemouth agreed but overspent and now they need to recoup some of that money

They played Leicester two seasons ago and they charged £20-28 for adults.

In which case Spanner is probably right, Bournemouth need to charge the prices if they are to get anywhere near the revenue that Leicester got from their game.

Another reason why playing Real Madrid is a complete waste of time in a friendly.

Plus, how many of the stars will play and those that do will just trott about at less than half pace.
