I did a flying-header off the line playing for The Institute U14's against SFX at Mersey Rd a long, long time ago. It was better than Luiz's, but unfortunately it was before electricity had been discovered, let alone films and tv, so you'll just have to take my word for it. And it was a ****ing hard, wet casey......
Talking of desperate interceptions, there is always this one:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4D07LN14mGY Fortunately, the horse was unhurt.
Put him in that situation another ten times and I bet at least nine end up in the net. Great clearance but the bobble at the right time made it very lucky too. There is no way he would have got it over the bar otherwise.
They're average clearances. Just cos this guy is a keeper it don't matter he used his feet And at the other end
This is a desperate interception...
Cannot forget Jerzy Dudek double saves against AC Milan and Jamie Carragher clearance also against AC Milan at Istanbul. Great , Great, Great.
Good clearance but bobble helped him put it over otherwise wold have just hit his leg and probably still rolled in.
