it looks like neymar will be arriving at the bridge this summer, hope it happens just think thats the kind of players chelsea need at the moment can you imagine if it click a front 3 of Neymar Torres Sturidge that will be devastating!!!! Your tohought pls
Anything clicking will be devastating really but with foreign players it all comes down to whether they can adapt to the rigours of the Premiership or not.
Sadly, Sturridge will not be any part of our frontline next season. He'll do well at a club like Everton and good luck to him as we won't give him a fair crack. We do need some creativity though and Neymar sounds interesting. Personally, it's our midfield that worries me. Frank, Ess, Malouda, Kalou, Anelka, Benny, Zirkhov all need replacing in my view. I'd put Luiz in front of the back four and move Mikel into Essiens role. Mikel is a better player than people realise. Then it is two more needed for the midfield unless McEachran is ready to take a position.
Sturridges form at Bolton warrants a starting place for us without a shadow of a doubt...he was our most in form striker and bagged 7 in 10 for a well organised, mid table team. If he doesn't get a chance then f*** knows what is going on in Romans weird mind.
Neymar is a quality player, with blinding potential. The only thing you should be worried about with him is how weak he is. He'll certainly need to be in the weight room improving his upper body strength if he want to succeed in the prem, because if your too weak then you'll just get pushed off the ball.
Good player but a quick warning so you know what to expect: - He can't shoot with his right foot, but he is very good with his left - He is reluctant to pass
The ****ing idiot has also got a 3 match ban for the start of the season as he got sent off in Boltons last game so that aint gonna help his cause....or ours.
The thing about Sturridge is that while we still have the 3 of Drogs, Anelka and Kalou kicking about they will all get picked ahead of him!! He has proved he can score goals in the PL so why not give it a go! The squad needs a shake up anyway!
Mikel? Realy?? Our midfield is pedestrian enough without giving him a more attacking role. Clearly we are crying out for a ball playing midfielder ala Xavi, Modric, Sneider type player. We wont win the champions league without one. Sadly Mikel is far from that type of player and certainly no better than Lampard, Essien or Ramieres. Josh maybe in the future but is still so young. Agree with Sturridge especially as it looks like we are in for Neymar, Lukaku etc. He will probably end up back out on loan.
Good player but a quick warning so you know what to expect: - He can't shoot with his right foot, but he is very good with his left - He is reluctant to pass ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry but that´s simply not true. Sturridge is very good with his right as well and I´ve seen him score with his right. Total myth that Sturridge can only score with his left. As for the part where Sturridge is reluctant to pass why don´t you check out all the goals Sturridge created for Bolton last season.
We need 2 quick wide players and a creative midfield player and a good keeper to back up and push Cech. Get rid of Mikel, Kalou, Ferrera,Hilario, Turnbull,Zhirkov,Malouda and Drogba. Push Luiz into midfield as a holding player. Team I would like to see. Cech Ivanovic Terry Alex Cole Luiz Lampard or Essien Ashley Young Sanchez Neymar Toress
Loving the idea of a sanchez, neymar, torres forward line but not feeling the ashley young thing at all. Vastly over rated, united are welcome to him!! However it looks like sanchez is staying in Italy. Neymar and Pastore maybe?? Then let some of the older players go in the next 12 months and bring on josh, sturridge and kakuta more.
If we got Neymar we would have to change quite a few of our players in order to get the best from him, I think we will do that even if he doesn't come, but does anyone really think Hiddink would be the man to oversee the exciting team we all expect...no.
Why oh why are people calling for Hiddink to be our next boss, when he came before he took charge of a great squad that had either been badly coached or more likely in need of some proper organisation (square pegs etc) and he did what any competent coach would do and set the side up to play as they were originally meant to, and guess what we looked good, because we were. Now we need more than a bit of reorganisation, the squad is ageing and we need to replace a number of our 1st team, so I recon we need someone with fresh ideas who is likely to stay around for a while.
