its already confirmed its coming back for next season, green and white is too celtic. Blue and white 1st, blue and black 2nd, red and black 3rd in all hoops would do me!

They were QPR's colours before the blue and white! Having them as an away/3rd strip now and again is the way to go.

Its good to hold onto our history and tradition.

It would have saved a whole lot of time and effort to just publish yet another link to http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/

Personally, I couldn't give a toss who had the hoops first, that Reading fans shout "come in you Rs", or that a couple in their current squad bear a passing resemblence to messrs Gorkks and Legs.

I just want QPR to beat them comfortably every time they meet, is all.

I have had issues with that site. Not all the kits are correct. I have a QPR team picture about 100+yrs old and the kits don't match up. I was always told the 'camera never lies'. So unless my picture is fake (sorry for pun) the site is wrong.

Also agree with the thick hoops

Yep, and I knew no-one would keep popping to-and-forth between sites just to browse a kit for a certain year that is referred to; better to have it shown in the very article. I think that place is pretty accurate from the Reading side of things though.
But the point of the article was trying to interpret what's been going on through the decades and make it as enjoyable to read as possible. And I had no idea it was going to have so much attention, I'm overwhelmed! Thanks to everyone, and now on the match itself next week!

    What Queens said.

Daib0, it was a great piece and I'm sure I speak for all the boys when I say you're welcome on here any time.

Hey, I'm just as proud of the hoops, Queens... just couldn't give two hoots that Reading have (sort of) them too. I am disappointed, however, that their kit for this season is much better than ours. I also totally agree with an earlier comment that none of this mattered when they were little 3rd/4th Division Reading playing out of Elm Park, so I kinda find it strange that it should matter now. Yeah, yeah, I know... just me I guess.

Daib0 and Ellers, ExtendedPhenotype was indeed the fellow I was thinking of.

Although its a shame how all these different clubs posters got displaced when 606 shut, as the banter was generally good.

To be honest, It's only our Cringe worthy announcer man who encourages "C'mon URRRZZZ!" at the start of matches to try and gee up the crowd. Anyone older than 25, or a frequenter of Elm Park would tell you the rallying cry from the Southbank was always "Come on you Royals!"
