According to Dave L we have already sold over 6000 STs. Not bad considering we only sold 9700 last year. The SoD factor and the early signings seem to have made a huge impact. Imagine if we could sell the same as last year.
Selling more season tickets will be key to next season because they generate the revenues necessary to build the team. In years past when we have played at this level we constantly had the largest attendances in the division, and if we put out a competitive product we might challenge for that distinction again, but against some other well supported teams this time.
Almost certainly Wolves will. Sheff Utd (Ave L1 crowd last year 18000+)should have but their fans have been getting somewhat tissed off with what has gone on up there over the last few years and if they do not get off to a good start might find some of their fans voting with their feet, but having said that they should be the second best supported club in the division with us in third trying to catch them.
Usually happens when you drop down a league if you can be reasonably successful, following several seasons of struggle, and very poor home performances and results to boot
A good start to the season should see us with crowds in the region of 15000 especially with the excitement of so many new and more potential signings
Bristol City FC ‏@bcfctweets 1h Season tickets now top 6,250 for 2013/14. It's the last day to secure your existing seat, call 0117 963 0600 by 5pm or visit BCFC Megastore. still on the rise
Actually thinking about it 6,000 attendance is a bumper crowd for them.. and that still includes away fans...
