Swansea City manager, Michael Laudrup has signed seven Spanish players since arriving in Wales a year ago, but when offered the chance to loan one of Spanish football’s gems in Barcelona B winger, Gerard Deulofeu, he ruled out a loan move for the U20 World Cup star. Interesting, he has become tipped to be the next big Spanish name! http://madrid-barcelona.com/2013-06-29/laudrup-cierra-la-puerta-a-deulofeu/

http://madrid-barcelona.com/2013-06-29/laudrup-cierra-la-puerta-a-deulofeu/ Well it's speculation , but if its true then perhaps the reason is that its a loan and we shouldn't be relying on them to much
Maybe he's just not good enough yet for the prem. He is after all still a B squad player, if I understand it correctly.
No speculation about it In an interview with Barcelona-based Catalan sports daily, Mundo Deportivo, Laudrup rejected the thought of signing Deulofeu on loan, but gave him praise for being a gifted player. “He is a very talented player but he’s not coming on loan to Swansea.”
He was asked a question, as there has probably been speculation about it, so he discounted it. We are probably linked to every Spanish player under £10m or so I imagine.
This guy is higher rated than Ince, Zaha & Redmond and has proven it! On 15 May 2013, Deulofeu signed a new contract with Barcelona, keeping him with the Blaugrana until June 2017. He also has been offered a 1st team contract from the Catalan giants
