In a move that will strike fear into the rest of the premiership Manchester United have obtained the valuable services of Micheal Owen on a one year contract. Arsene Wenger reportedly said he is quitting, the league is won already for United why bother, Owen is such a skillful tough intelligent lightning fast player, any team would love to have him. Wenger also said he totally understood the arrogance hubris and general all round blindness of manchester united fans with them having secured Owen for a season. Apparently Roman had heard this and sacked Carlo for not signing Owen first, and sacked Wilkins for stupidly questioning Owens obvious abundant abilities.
It's not looking good for United's re-building. I think most will be pretty pissed off with this news as it means Berbatov will be off, especially what with Welbeck coming back from loan spell.
Heard that they're going to bid for Charlie Adam to replace Scholes. I think we'll have dodged a bullet if United take him since we have been linked with him a good bit since January. Never rated him at all, would have been pissed if we blew 10m on him!
I'm really disappointed that we missed out on Owen.There is also other people that are deeply upset that Liverpool didn't land Owen.....Liverpools medical staff.He would have kept them extremely busy with the amount of times he breaks down in a season.They also decided to not target Owen Hargreaves,they are good....however they can't perform miracles.
