Why would he leave. He realises that he has the potential here to make this club great again and I think fans need to realise its not gonna happen overnight in the current state anyway

I think most of us realize it'll take time, sure we've been waiting ever since ridsdale nearly fecked the club up....so another few years won't matter..

 

Apparently BBC Leeds is reporting we've made a 7 figure bid for Crewe midfielder Luke Murphy...although I find this doubtful.

Would be nice though!

Is Murphy really that good to warrant a 7 figure sum, I admit that I don't know much about him but it seems a hefty transfer fee

 

He really is top class with the ball, great passer, a lot of creativity and doesn't give the ball away often. Worth 7 figures? The Crewe fans seem to think so, a lot of them rate him as highly as Westwood who went to Villa last year...but anyway, it's not going to happen for us!

 

Funny enough I've been reading Murphy' being linked to us for a couple of weeks now. TBH anything could happen.

 

Think Blackburn will offer bigger wages though.

 

Just had a look at Gary Mackay Steven in this clip. First time I've seen him & am impressed. Cheeky wee bastard!

Mackay Steven would be class. Almost Gradel-esque at times!

 

Are we linked with him? This is the first I'm hearing of it. I'm dubious when it comes to watching players from youtube compilations and I don't know much about him but the lad obviously has skill and an eye for goal so it looks like the type of winger we need!

 

Yea he looks pretty good and very skillful, I don't like to judge from Youtube videos though. Saying that, that was a compilation from just last season

 

Gary Mackay-Steven would be just the kind of player we need, really hope the rumours are true.

I think we should go in for Andre Moritz, an attacking midfielder whose contract at Crystal Palace has just run out. Would be available on a free (obviously) and I think central midfield would be sorted if we got him in.

 

Good player, but by last count we have 8 (eight!) central midfielders at the moment definitely need to offload some first
