I wonder if he's had to reign in his Sheffield/ South Yorkshire accent & dialect so fans from elsewhere can understand him. The time they've spent in the States has obviously influenced his look, ie the quiff.
I wasn't sure whether it was just part of the act but he seems to think he is elvis. Not knocking him though.
To be fair, they're now recording in places other than Sheff/ London so to record songs about deeda chavs in Novas & Addidas trackies smacking each other in clubs constantly, won't sell too well with their new fanbases overseas, especially if they reguritate it. I agree the albums have gone down in quality. We'll see what Josh Homme do to influence them.
QOTSA, for three albums (the first three, obviously) one of the best bands ever for me. Loved them, so I think it's interesting what could happen. Personally think Josh should concentrate on making QOTSA an amazing band again and unsack all the original members, but it won't happen.
I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor. What a ****ing absolutely brilliant song. Loving this. Jagger is gonna have to be on top form to beat this for me.
