Reading some of the recent waccoe stuff, large numbers on there, patience has run very thin with the gfh lot, few supporters still on board. How many of our crew still feel as confident with gfh's ability as back in January
Never had any confidence in them, so nothing's changed there. I'm very confident we have a much better manager in place now than we had in January, at least we can look forward to a better, more organised style of passing football, even if we start off the season with the current squad. I could never understand Warnock's 'tactics' anyway - why have so many midfielders in the squad only to bypass them with hoofball. Personally I can't wait for the season to start, but that's only because of the manager - and close season's so boring anyway. Roll on 13th August
To be honest, I had suspicions from day 1 that it was all a Bates scam. The fact that this company that has just loaned you some money to get through the Summer (which David Haigh happens to be a director of) is located in the same building as Teak whatever that owns Elland Road and Thorpe Arch (everyone knows Bates owns it but nobody can prove it) just adds fuel to the fire Typical Bates - has dozens of company's on the go, moving transactions between each, and adding his "fees" on and poor old Leeds fans have to put up with the crap - Us Wall fans wouldn't have let it happen - he's be doing a Mussolini from a Monaco street light by now
Agreed Tc. Added to the fact all the original faces still pulling the strings makes you wonder. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is a bloody duck
One thing I am pretty certain about is that Bates is involved in a lot of this somehow. Making him president is no different than Ashley bringing in Joe Kinnear as DOF at Newcastle. It's a pi$$ take and they can get away with it. My personal opinion is that football is rotten to the core nowadays. I think a lot of it was all planned way back just before the Premier League started and Sky came into existance. I might start a thread about it one day. A few 'chosen' clubs have been the beneficiary of it all for the last 20 years. Others like us unfortunately will remain in the wilderness for years to come IMO.
GFH are so obviously Patsies for Bates. If they weren't, he would be LONG gone not President of a Club he clearly despises, & so would Socks Harvey. I dont know what the answer is, had too many dreams & promises broken over the years. I do know we have a decent manager for a change. Even if he only had Warnocks old squad I guarantee he would be playing better football with better results. What hacks me off is the same spin GFH use as Bates (he clearly writes their statements for them) Dont tell the fans you are backing the Manager in the transfer window while conveniently omitting the clauses i.e. he has to sell to buy. Christ, they will be talking about a transfer pot next! Smoke & Mirrors, Deceipt & Lies, oh and more Lies! BUT you will never break us! M.O.T. Forever.
