Don't think much of it tbh. But there's a hell of alot worse in the charts now. Just heard that Wanted song- "Walks like Rihanna". My ****ing god it's ****e.
To be fair, it is better than most of the **** in the charts over the past 6 or 7 years... That stuff just makes me depressed.
Wonder how much airplay it will get outside of the Hull area - also wondering what are the number of records that need to be sold/downloaded about this time of year to get into the top 10. As if the figure is doable could Hull fans get it charting
Oh my word, that wanted song should be buried and never heard again.. Chart music really is ****ing abysmal
it has got worse since x-factor when all you need to be is a pretty boy who can't sing and you are put in a group like one direction, Harry Styles I'm looking at you.
I'm 74 and HATE rap music. But this was quite easy to listen to...well done lads. But shouldn't it be 'ULL ???
Mixed with a little humour too? It's funny, its not a bad song but some people have to moan about everything.

I have to admit I fell deeply and instantly in love with Iâm Not From America, Iâm From Hull on first hearing. It's the debut release from the band's forthcoming album Punkological Business, and I'd warmly recommend checking out the splendidly barmy video that goes with this track. Vinnie is currently gigging across Yorkshire, and can also be found hosting regular open mic nights in York every Thursday at The Rose & Crown, and Sunday at The Red Lion. John Peel would have adored this." APPROXIMATELY 3,000 Sales in a week can get you into the top 40 in the charts. The track is available on iTunes, and is chart registered so it will be eligible. You can hear other tracks we've done and watch more videos at http://www.vinnieandthestars.com The video for this track was done for free, in total it cost us a tin of alphabet spaghetti and a bread roll. Here's another music video we've done, this one has two hot girls dressed as air hostesses in it and was also done for free, it cost us the hat and outfits off eBay (I let the girls keep theirs and bought them a burger king as payment)...
