I think what this lot are trying to tell you (In their own inimitable fashion) is that yes, the matter has indeed been mentioned before. If you type `aquafresca` in the forum search box (top right) you will find the thread. Hope this helps.
Sunderland, Hull City linked with Robert Acquafresca Bologna player Robert Acquafresca celebrates after scroing for Bologna on March 4, 2012© AP Photos Tweet By Michael Penkman, Reporter Filed: Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 05:51 UK Last Updated: Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 06:08 UK Sunderland have once again been linked with a move for out-of-favour Bologna forward Robert Aquafresca. Black Cats boss Paolo di Canio is thought to be an admirer of the 25-year-old Italian, who scored three goals in 13 appearances during a loan spell with Spanish outfit Levante last season. According to Football Italia, Acquafresca does not feature in the plans of coach Stefano Pioli, which has not only alerted Sunderland but also Hull City. The former Italian Under-21 international came through the youth ranks at Inter Milan in 2005, but spent time at four different clubs before completing a permanent move to the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in 2011.
Why would we be interested in a hull target? A promoted club? Paolo did say we'd be looking for players to improve the squad. Again it's the old lazy link an italian thing.
