I think you can defo add Swansea to that list for this season, as Laudrup will walk before he eats his Christmas pudding and they'll be screwed. And Fulham always flirt with it and you at least fancy points off them (6 in our first season wasnt it?).
The lack of Celtic fans on here now may now mean they have accepted Hooper is history. I think other PL clubs are behind us in overall quality.
I think it depends on keeping some of the key players more than Laudrup. Worm, Williams, Michu and the fella with the pony tail name escapes me at the moment. Lose a couple of those and I agree they'll be in and around the bottom 3.
Dont laugh at the poor dear...... he's serious! Man U and Chelsea are green with envy looking at our squad.

It's a simple fact that the percentage of promoted teams that stay up (62%) is higher than teams that bounce straight back after relegation (25%). There are lies, damn lies and statistics: however my interpretation of that particular stat is that teams at the top of the Championship are stronger than the teams at the bottom of the Premier League. The way to stay up is to do well in the league within a league that is the lower half (or two-thirds) of the PL. Picking up any results against the top teams brings satisfaction but is a bonus. Great point re. the gap within the Premier League itself. It means the lower half of the Premier League is extremely competitive. What do fans think about defensive reinforcements for Hull? Or a new goalkeeper? Are they needed? Will Bruce need to change the way you guys set up?
We have reinforced our defence with the signings of Davies and Figueroa. We have just tied Chester down to a new 3 year contract and expect to offer new deals to Rosenior and McShane (although some may argue the latter doesn't reinforce the defence). And we anticipate signing the Scottish keeper McGregor shortly
Suggest you spend some time looking at some other squads then. Just about what i expected from someone of your limited football knowledge. To even mention those teams beggars belief.
The bottom of the PL and top of the Championship, should be around the same standard, but in reality the gap is vast. If it wasn't that way why would we have to strengthen?
