Some ideas which I think would help the to develop & maintain a connection between fans & club, may even ultimately adress the atmosphere problem (which is an issue throughout the league). Its important that we all feel that this is OUR club, not the plaything/investment opportunity for some faceless corporation or Oligarch. At least Pappa Allem talks the talk of community etc can the club back it up with actions? I'd be interested in others' ideas...

so, in no particular order of importance:

    1) No goal music ever! Or cheerleaders...
    2) Keep admission as affordable to as wide an audience as possible, maybe set aside a decent number at £20 for each game (1000?) Don't go above £30 except for Arsenal fans
    3) Keep commercialism to a minimum, start by getting rid of all the irritating adverts on the scoreboard. They are an insult to the fans. Reduce drink / pie prices & get decent food etc Bob Carvers or similar
    4) Stewards to show respect to ALL fans - no banning orders for petty offences. Flares are great! Standing up & shouting is ok too - even the odd swear word
    5) Stop changing the kit every year - when did that start?
    6) Don't employ overpaid mercinaries, I just want to see players who give 100% and give a ****
    7) keep employing ugly managers

Hard to argue with any of that, though I think the kit one is a lost cause, pretty much every club changes their kit every season nowadays.

I think Arsenal are keeping their home kit from last season, which is nice. Too bad they charge insane prices for tickets which cancels it out.

I like the idea of charging away fans the same prices we would pay at their grounds and make them return unsold tickets quickly so they can be sold to City fans (away seat allocation would need a bit of imagination and fluidity).

If we did that only about 10 Arsenal fans would turn up.

WHO'll PAY for the loss of income!! Bleeding hell how much does Sky et al put into clubs (Players pockets)??
I know Carvers is rubbish it was just a fish n chip example
    The Arsenal ref. was ironic
I know City meet fans etc long may it continue - did theys ask about 'Hull tigers' etc?
just cos everyone else changes kit doesnt mean we have to, it wasn't always that way

I don't buy the pies but I'd like to if they were any good & reasonably priced. All I'm saying is beware too much commercialism because the game will become secondary & ultimately meaningless in terms of sport look at the superbowl for a fine example of where the Prem is headed if we're not careful...maybe it's already too late.
Sat afternoon k.o @ 3pm was for the working man, most convenient for shift workers etc. Its still prob the best time for most ordinary fans, how many games will k.o @ that time this season? Anybody ask the fans? How bout getting to an away game in London for a 12.30 k.o on a sunday? Commercial decision entirely...
I worked for the NHS for 30 yrs & the bean counters are in charge there too, decisions are mostly about cost not clinical anymore...

Anyone in the home end in another team's shirt should be ejected.

    No drums.

    My football manifesto

1/ Soft furnishings and room to move around.
2/ Beer freely available in my hand as I watch.
3/ Choice of food available, Cheesy chips, pizza, Sausage sarnies
4/ Singing, chanting and slating a requirement of support
5/ Advertising only at half time
6/ Same price home and away
7/ instant replays of every foul, just to **** the ref up.

I expect 80% of our support will watch City like this to a certain extent, me, like most of us on here will put up with the same ****e pies, miserable stewards, over priced away tickets etc.

I was thinking about this the other day. When the ref makes a bad call, we can slow it down and instead of the player complaining, he can just point to the board smugly and the ref can reverse the call, it won't take 2 seconds.
