Powell & an untried striker keep getting mentioned on here, can't remember the name though. Not sure if SB will have the same link with Moyes, but then our Utd players came when NP was in charge so no connection there.
Striker was Ãngelo HenrÃquez from Manchester Utd as well, don't really know much about him, was at Wigan last season only got 4 league games, scored once though.
We need someone better than Powell and Henriquez. Surely we shouldn't use one of loan spots on untried utd keepers? What a waste.
I dont expect any loans from Man Utd until after the season has started. David Moyes says he will take the entire squad on pre-season tour for assessment. Who is allowed to leave on loan will depend on who they sign. Nick Powell is a very good player imo and very much worth a try. We can always send him back just like with Ben Amos.
Powell looks like a great prospect. Not sure how we'd fit him and Aluko into a team, but it would be a nice problem to have.
I suspect our loans might come from abroad. I just wonder if as well as Manchester United, we couldn't loan players from clubs like Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Lyon, Porto etc.
