Fantastic capture,SOD is putting the jigsaw together.
The nice thing seems to be getting his targets.
As Frank Fielding has said the gaffer is well respected and I wanted to play for him when he wanted me.

Now for the next signing, have to say I like every signing so far.
Well done SoD and the board for backing him.

I'm pleased too, it's gradually coming together. As RR has said, SOD seems to be getting his targets, and I'm especially pleased that so much business has been done relatively early for a change. Some new faces in (in key positions), and some of the dead wood going out. Still a few more gaps to fill, and of course there'll probably be some departures that won't happen until July or August. But it's promising, and nice that the team that starts the season will have far more of SOD's stamp on it than the one that got relegated.

Cautious optimism from me (though I'd love to see scenes in Bristol next May reminiscent of those here in Chicago on Monday night when the Blackhawks won ice hockeys Stanley Cup. Thousands in the streets after the win in game 6, a huge parade/thing downtown on Friday - tens or hundreds of thousands will go to that, and thousands of people queued up for hours to be the first to buy the "winners" t-shirts. Crazy stuff.)

The really pleasing thing is that all of these players had options to stay at their current clubs, but are hungry for 1st team action so chose to come here. Young hungry footballers are just what we need. An added bonus is they are all English a very rare commodity these days!!
