Not all fans have the same opinion. I don't want him to sell, and the only thing he's done wrong lately is appoint Kinnear. I wouldn't feel so sorry for us at the moment, I would feel sorry for yourself. Regardless of where we finished, you finished 4th bottom and your manager is a nutcase. He's also trying to offload half the squad without news of any real talent coming in. I'd much rather be in our position now.
Then why did a group of your fans gather in a dirty social club and sanction a vote on whether you think he should sell or not and all raise your hands? You sure showed Joking Ear's mate didn't you?
I for one want to visit the board to discuss football related subjects, realistic transfers or positive news. Half of our fans (not all) only post negative things, moaning before the season has even started. Not sure if anyone else is staying away for similar reasons, but there's not much worth discussing right now IMO.
A handful of fans gathered from what I hear for a pointless meeting about things they have no control over. Never been a fan of 'Ashley out' campaigns. Referring to 'us' as all one person/group with the same point of view is stupid.
Well it was a mix of Supporter groups and fanzine members. Surely they've consulted their members and readers to form a collective opinion? You say there's not much worth discussing at the moment, yet your club/fan relationship is in a right mess. You've had a major staff leave and join recently, and reports today say Joking ear and Carr have met and sorted their transfer strategy and are ready to go shopping. Plenty of talking points there.
