Attended last night and briefly spoke to the architects (John Vivas?).

Much is as expected, but a large section of the stadium.design has that generic could be anywhere Tesco feel.

The Wedlock is a mess of thought. A design of commitee with no clear thought process. It is apparent how little consultation has taken place there.

Having viewed the plans they look OK, and I am firmly in the redevelop AG camp.
Not sure what the new capacity will be in real terms, as currently it is 21,000 odd but in reality it is closer to 19,000 due to segregation and restricted views. The new capacity is says will be circa 26,500, but does not say If it will all be useable, if it is then that is a good upgrade and in truth more than enough for us, but if we lose too much to the previous issues then I have to question the value of this.

yes it will all be useable
the away fans will be housed in the Atyeo so no seats will be lost to segregation

That wedlock is ****, plain as that. Splitting it in two makes it even worse.

Blokes in the Eastend on here who would use it?
