Well nobody up to now has mentioned the other side of the coin I ****ing love the bloke and like everything he has done up to now i want to know if he thinks players are crap and i couldn't give a **** if it hurts any of thier feelings after last seasons finishing position they were all **** barring a couple of them, sorry to see Mig go but westy is just as good if not better, can't wait for the new season to start it will be bloody exciting and i think we will finish in the top ten and not be ****ting ourselves on the last day of the season but then again we will probably go down with the least points ever lol.

Its a worse deal every time I look at it, and especially as I can see us chasing another unknown foreign keeper on a freebie no doubt to replace him and not reinvesting any of it on a decent keeper. I don't see an SAFC with burning ambition here at all but I do see a manager talking the talk but not walking the walk. A Chairman who has all but disappeared and a lot of canny players being sold or put up for sale, to be replaced by a handful of unknown, untested foreigners and it isn't giving me any excitement or buzz for next season at all. It is worrying the **** out of me on an ever growing day by day yard sale though.
I bet if Krul was sold up the road, Ashley would get a minimum of £15m + add ons for him, otherwise they would tell the asking club to **** off. Clubs know we will give in at the first ask so come in low anyway? Starting bid for Mig should have been set by us at £15m or else don't bother asking. Liverpool would have probably paid it. When I first read this thread by Cest a couple of days ago I very much disagreed with the fella. However seeing Mignolet holding that Liverpool shirt up my heart dropped, totally gutted hes gone and especially the way the club have simply allowed him to go so easily giving off the wrong message when we are trying to attract new players. I mean what did we have to lose in holding out until the last day of the window? If he went then fine, otherwise we have a great keeper for another season. Its obvious though that due to the speed of the deal, "selling before we buy" is the instructions given by Short and if this is the case then fair enough I understand the deal. It is strange though that apparently all of our best players are up for sale but theres been not a shred of coverage that our crap players (Graham etc) are also up for the chop, its all paper talk. Another thing I cant get my head around though is why Liverpool? No disrespect but he had Arsenal written all over him and if I was a Gunner I would be furious the dithering Wenger hasn't snapped him up as he is exactly what they have been missing for 10 years. Granted they would have to make an offer first for him to go there but its stupidity that they didnt in my opinion. People are forgetting that as things stand we have lost arguably the reason we stayed in the PL last season and only recruited 3 completely unknown first team players on bosmans and 2 kids for the youth squad. I think its easy to get lulled in to these rumors of players we are linked with and almost take it for granted we have/will sign them bt in reality as things stand things are bleak. Danny as things stand we looked ****ed for next year imo. We seem hell bent on either selling the crown jewels, or at least telling the world we have them up for sale but targeting totally unheard of foreigner kids and unknowns to replace them. I think it will unsettle the players left (if any by August) and we will not be ready at this rate by Christmas never mind August. Far from excited I'm ****ting bricks here. PDC is out of his depth if he thinks al load of untested foreigners are going to hack it in the EPL all at once and from day one. Its never going to happen. You watch us get shafted by selling clubs now they know we have sold our players and need replacements. Its turning more and more into a big ****ing joke imo but we are not the ones laughing.
