What I gathered from that was we will be signing Ryan giggs on loan.

Nice to see Alex Dyer and Nathan Jones on it too - this new potential 'nous*' could count as an extra signing really so good to see the board investing!

If I am correct and this is happening now, does anyone else think that this could be potentially halting our progress during the early transfer window? Players that we are supposedly after like Maghoma and Paterson are being signed by other clubs while Powell might be furthering his education.

You can't have too much "nous".
A little "nous" is a dangerous thing.

Just said something similar on the transfer thread before reading this. I agree, it's hard to see how we could be doing any business whilst CP's away. Players who have signed for us since CP arrived have spoken of his persuasion, ambition etc. Maybe CP's calmer about the situation that us fans?

Gaining education is better than having a mindless imbecile at the helm. As Ernesto Guevara inclined towards, with the right education and training even the smallest person can knock down giants (think it was a reference to The Bay of Pigs). And no doubt when he gets back, he'll better use of the resources available to him.

Remember guys, we've not really lost any massive players, maybe Fuller but if he spent more time playing good football like we saw glimpses of, than falling all over the place, I'd be worried.
