    Sinead o' Connor?

If it's 9million for Mig, LFC have got a bargain (in todays football market), mind we did get double that for Henderson.

So Mig wants to leave. We want him to stay, PDC wants him to stay but, he wants to go & we have to accept that. It`s his choice.

He wants to go to Liverpool. He thinks it will further his career. OK, we think he`s daft but again that`s his choice. Deal with it.

All the above is on the assumption that he does actually leave. Personally, I don`t have a problem with that. Yes, he is an excellent keeper but imo so is Westwood.

The only thing left is how much. We know what the media are like for chucking numbers about. `It is understood that`, `the fee is believed to be`, `in the region of`, etc etc blah de blah.

You lot are at each others throats when we don`t even know the final figure yet. <doh>

I will gripe or agree when we find out but, until then, there is not enough information to form an opinion.

Right, said me piece. Sorry to interrupt the abuse hurling competition. Do feel free to continue.

I dont think di canio has much to do with this deal. It wont be him setting the price or doing the negotiations. We just have to trust the club to get the best deal for us. They did that with bent and hendo

Totally ripped off for that price lads but would hold back on the blame game and finger pointing until its a done deal. If it is only 9mil as Cest says poor bit of business yet again by Sunderland selling a player, while when we buy them the price goes sky high for crap.

At last the voice of reason. We simply don't know and it's all guess work, as for PDC I still have my doubts but admire his passion. I don't like how he deals with things in the media and feel he is to gun hoe but will support him and pray it works as he gains more experience. This is going to be an interesting season which will either IMO implode or go well, here's hoping.

    Lets just remember.

Sunderland arre ****. Last season showed it.

9m is a good price for a keeper, especially for a club in our position. Of course I would have liked more but a potential 3m.on top isnt too bad.

We need to realise that going after players with premier league experience is both a) prohibitively expensive and b) still no guarantee for success.

As for PDC, that is who we have. A ball hasnt been kicked in anger and the window is still open. No point being worried now.

Di Canio kept us in this league when it was looking like a racing certainty that we were heading for the drop..We have tried the experienced tried and tested managers without success, so I for one am prepared to give him a chance to prove himself..One thing for certain, is that if fans are turning against him before a ball has been kicked in anger, then our chances of success will be zero...

Not turning against him but have serious doubts about his ability to manage at this level. He is a loose canon imo and this obsession with unknown foreign players only is worrying to me. Also, as we saw with Villa especially, Stoke and Southhampton, he isn't a miracle worker at all. We also had as many red cards in his 8 games as we did in the other 30.

I bust feel if is batting well above his ability managing in the EPL. I genuinely hope I'm wrong.

Oh and so long as we get players and a team that do it on the pitch, thats all that matters really. Not our money, not our **** up. The majority on here will still support the club is run be Al Capone or Col Ghadaffi.

So does that mean we are not allowed opinions on the new regime? This is a debate about the new regime mate and not everyone is yanking their puds over PDC and his management of the club?
