Sorry, it's due to my American Things thread on the United board. Too much American for this forum.

You talking senior team? I think Villareal has been on the verge but dont think either are in the gold cup squad due to the u20 tourney.

U-20 team. Villareal was in the qualifying squad, but I think the Galaxy may have refused to let him go.

Yeah, think he'll be the "Landon Donavon" of the next generation. In terms of creative importance on the team.

Villareal could also play a huge part in the future, he's clearly talented and seems to have the work ethic, but he has to be able to adapt to the physical nature, because he's so small.

    England in Group E

    How they stand:

    Group E

    Iraq 2 1 1 0 4 3 4 Points=4
    Chile 2 1 1 0 3 2 4 Points =4
    England 2 0 2 0 3 3 2 Points =2
    Egypt 2 0 0 2 2 4 0 Points =0
Is England going to go beyond Group stage?.Maybe 'Arry was right

    are we not out yet?

oh and harry is just bitter. no-one will lead any english muppets to any more cos all english clubs value is foreign technique and english "heart" all of our players are power based with a bit of pace thrown in... not one technical player amongst them. you only need look at LFC academy which is simply choc full of foreign technique and a few english lads who are there cos they are powerful.

I said after the second one that england were ****e and all english players are just power and if you are lucky a bit of pace. they even did worse than my prediction of 3 draws and home.

<applause> to the fa and english clubs for employing the likes of pearce and taylor to manage youth levels and also the clubs for just picking the brutes and buying in cheap foreign creativity... look at everton with arteta in thier day, us with 20 youths who are all foreign and we make one or two english type wingers... look at utd with the bast they can do is cleverly... or chelsea... or city... only arsenal have made a reasonably technical player in whilshire.
