I dont see Tom Ince rushing to wales at the moment. I think he may wait and see what else comes along. No rush from the player i suspect.
Still 17 Million short of what his father valued him at, I expect they will have to go back with a bigger offer.
For those who can't open links at work... Sky sources understand that Cardiff City have agreed a fee with Blackpool for winger Tom Ince. The 21-year-old - son of Blackpool boss Paul - has flourished at Bloomfield Road since moving from Liverpool in the summer of 2011. His performances have attracted the interest of a number of Premier League clubs, with a dramatic return to Anfield believed to have been close last January. That move never materialised but Blackpool's failure to secure a return to the top flight last season meant it was always going to be a struggle to keep the England Under-21 international should Premier League clubs come calling. Cardiff, who ran away with the Championship title last term, have yet to dip into the transfer market this summer as they plan for their first-ever Premier League campaign. But an agreement is now believed to be in place to bring Ince to south Wales.
That's a lot of cash - but still better value than Zaha. I cannot believe Liverpool are not exercising their right of first refusal. He's English, he's undoubtedly talented. I'd rather see him at Liverpool than at a team I consider we'll be challenging with in the mini league.
Cardiff, who ran away with the championship title last term ? It was hardly that ffs. I dont see Ince jnr rushing to Wales especially if he is still away on his holidays. ?
...and he would cost them less than what Cardiff have agreed to pay due to a sell on clause when the reds sold Ince to Blackpool.
They were top for all of 2013 and at no point in that time did anyone ever seriously look likely to overtake them. If that's not running away with the league I don't know what is!
It's a great signing if it comes off. I can see Blackpool going down next year, they're going to lose Ince, Cathcart, Crainey, Phillips and GTF (the latter to Huddersfield), which is pretty much the spine of their team. Hell, I'd ask them how much they want for Gilks, he'd be a solid back up goalkeeper.
