Buffon doesn't look himself the last couple of games.

It's weird, because he has been as class as always for Juve all season.

Hernandez has missed a penalty which would've given him his hat trick.

Then he smashed the rebound from about 3 yards out at the bar. Sitter.

    Still 2-1 to Mexico

    FT 2-1 Mexico

FT 4-2 Brazil. Looks like Brazil have avoided Spain, and that we should see a rematch from Euro 2012 between Italy and Spain.

So at what point do people stop talking about boring, defensive Italian football and recognise instead Prandelli has always been a progressive, attacking coach?

I don't think anyone on this thread has said anything along those lines.

I knew that Prandelli was more attacking than defensive based on what I had seen of his Fiorentina sides.

Most people don't give a **** about the way Italy play football and many just post things to wind you up.

It doesn't work, I wasn't referring to this board at all. I meant the British media and ignorant ****ing tv analyists. I'm primarily thinking Lawrensen and Townsend.

If you tell me they're just trying to wind me up then that's particularly exciting.

You posted this as a response to yourself, but I'm assuming it was meant for me:

Tell that to Terrence St John Fuckwitt

That doesn't and won't happen because it's a stupid ****ing idea that's not viable geographically or economically.

One minute you say that the winners of the OFC Nations Cup should be barred from entering the Confederations Cup as they're **** and only qualified by beating other **** teams, then the next propose that they start playing the likes of San Marino as if that will somehow help them improve. Are you ******ed or just dumb?

Also, you say it's crap to watch (were Chappers and Pat Nevin holding you at gunpoint and forcing you to?) and that it's no good for morale, but I disagree on both counts. I thoroughly enjoyed watching Tahiti's games against both Nigeria and Spain, and the players clearly had as much fun participating as I did viewing it at home. Did you not see their goalkeeper?!

PS. What the **** are the 'Pharoe Islands'? I know what a pharaoh is, and I've heard of the Faroe Islands, but that's completely thrown me

It's the Egyptian influence. Good on you for enjoying it. You must be easily entertained.

The attached response from me was simply because I couldn't be bothered re writing what I had already written.

I'm sure there are loads of teams that fall within the economically viable and easily commutable distances. They have just travelled half way around the globe for a series of pastings in the confederations cup.

Of course it would help playing teams of a similar level, that's why we have a league system operating in domestic leagues amateur and professional in most countries you thick ****ing twat.

Nigeria vs Spain and Uruguay vs Tahiti tonight.

Uruguay need to better whatever Nigeria do to go through. So in other words, Uruguay are through - as they should beat Tahiti, and Spain should beat Nigeria.

Think I might give these a miss and go t'pub instead.

I must point out that if Tahiti win by 20 goals and Spain beat Nigeria, Tahiti go through.

    Fingers crossed.
