By Chris Wathan Comments Swansea City close in on deal for Espanyol star Jordi Amat ahead of completing deal for Alejandro Pozuelo The club are hopeful of bringing in 21-year-old Amat in a £2m switch after impressing in a breakthrough La Liga season while on loan at Rayo Vallecano last term.
Great news at last. I'm normally very cautious when it comes to these imminent signings but I must say I'm very confident that these two signings will go ahead. That'll be a defensive and attacking midfielder, centre back and if what I've been told de Guzman set to return as well. Only piece of jigsaw left then will be to bring in a quality striker or hopefully two. Chances are now this Laudrup fiasco can be put behind us.
There's a cracking goal in there where Pozuelo and Canas link up to score. This could be a very good signing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVzzNsoEjQE
Its a cracking goal yes, but lets face it he'll miss from that distance 99 out of 100 times. We don't really need full backs to score goals we need them to defend, so is he good at that?
Thanks for the welcome lads much appreciated. Regarding my username it's a nickname from my youthful times. How did I come by it, unfortunately I can't even begin to go public with it. Maybe if I log on after several pints of lager I may let it slip one day.
negotiations will intensify this Monday for Jordi Amat swansea will offer over €2m for the defender. http://www.marca.com/2013/06/23/en/football/international_football/1372016317.html
Good to see movement at last in the transfer market, hell I've been away for the best part of three weeks, and nothing to shout about back home with the Swans, man Jenkins can be a slow boat to china, on times I tell you!...................
