I actually find myself agreeing with Agro for once. The "Goal - Torres" isn't too bad, but live commentary via posts is just awful to see, especially when you're actually watching it too. I know some people aren't watching, but they'd surely much rather see penalties/goals (maybe sending offs) as opposed to "<insert name of footballer> is playing ****/incredible tonight" etc. Leave that to Sky Sports and BBC Live Commentary.
Quite. You do realise that as you are our resident ****WIT, I would have expected you would be able to spell it correctly? Regardless, my opinion is **** teams simply do not benefit from getting, as you so eloquently put 'Raped' by opponents on a regular basis. What would be more beneficial is rather than geographic qualification, a league table qualification within the ranking system happened. Therefore teams are playing against teams of similar ability, the current system where teams like San Marino, Pharoe Isles and Tahiti are getting smashed in most games won't benefit anyone. It's crap to watch, it's crap to participate in and it will do very little for morale.
I don't think I've quite yet reached the wisdom accolade, and the maturity part... Definitely debatable.
