My favourite footballer of all time and still is now....... Thierry Henry. Was beautiful to watch him play football. He's one of the reasons I like Arsenal AND he gave me my favourite number. 14 please log in to view this image
Big John Atyeo Never deliberately hand balled like Maradona and Henry. Never booked. Second Bobby Charlton
Raul Zico Socrates Tony Adams Matt Le Tissier and Steve Bull for their loyalty to their teams, both could of moved for good money but choose to stay. We have Gary Neville, Scholes and Giggs now but would they of stayed if Man U wasn't dominating the domestic league?
I've got 3, 1 local, 1 national and 1 a pure bloody genius... A) Big John, (B) Bobby Moore and (C) Georgie Best...
I could have done a much longer list but I spent quite a while deciding to make it singular from a top 6 of Moore, Atyeo, Best, Pele, Cruyff, and Le Tissier different sorts of players but all in their own ways outstanding I finally decided on George Best because he seemed to be able to do more than the others could and had it not been for his drinking problems would probably have been even better.
Talking admiration and not neccesarily the best footballers City player for me would be Tinman Watched live would be Ruud Gullit in a pre season friendly at Ashton Gate his passing from the back was a different class and was a skill to be admired. Boyhood footballing hero that I admired most was Gary Lineker
