Hands up there, Athos had not the speed for them and there's now way the rain helped him he hates it. Really, really hope the winner is ok.
As annoying as Jamie Spencer may be as a jockey i dont think he can really be blamed there. Mount Athos needs further than 1m4f. He was outpaced and staying on at the end. He would have won with another furlong.
How gutsy is UNIVERSAL btw, coming back in the final furlong to grab a place. Anyone having a pop at Jamie Spencer needs to have a word with themselves......wrong trip for the horse!

Probably not but ran him into a dead end when the gap clearly wasn't there and had to snatch him up and lost any chance he would have had there
RIP The Channel 4 team are making themselves look like complete buffoons again. Really disappointed in Jim's reaction to TC's death. Not the time to immediately rail against the anti racing lobby because it makes it sound like he's not bothered by the death of a horse. My fiancée was really pissed off by him there and so was I.

I know Emma Spencer has a job to do but did they really need her to interview Jonny Murtagh? I also cannot see for the life of me why they thought it necessary to show the scenes of the distraught connections in the ring.
