Just imagine how pleasant a surprise that would make. Old fogies like myself would have to eat bit lumps of humble pie. You'd never know
My sources tell me it's in Indonesian Rupiah so at the current rate to the pound of 13,960 - that gives Brian McD £358.16 to spend!
Now, now Parsley, never mind as you still might be able to buy a big bucket to collect the camel **** for £350 as long as they chuck in a ****ing big spade as well! Failing that you'll still have £8 left over!
I woke up this morning in a good mood - partly because off oop north to Leeds for the weekend to see a daughter, but also because I have finally made sense of things - or at least, worked out a way to be relaxed and serene for the next few weeks........ clearly GFH are masterful businessmen. There's a substantial pot sitting there for BM, £5m-£10m, but they are actively cultivating this image of being "skint arabs" with David Haigh popping up in unlikely places, and the complete disappearance of the rest of them, to demonstrate their complete lack of commitment to spending on the team....... and its all an act. They are cultvating this image purely to make sure BM and socks-off negotiate the best deals possible, and the agents and other clubs believe they'll have to be reasonable to get a deal out of no-cash Leeds...... then suddenly in the first week of July all 7 deals will be done simultaneously! Genius. And the best part of it is, no one can prove me wrong for several weeks. I will sleep like a baby now.
By George, I think you've got it. Hope your info doesn't leak out though or it will completely blow gfhs cover. One which they have gone to great lengths to make seem very believable. I was even daft enough to fall for the idea they were broke. At my age, you'd think I'd have more sense
Just glancing at the latest (I think) YEP article nice to see some players returning early to get fit before pre-season and I like McDermott's idea if you build the club right a team will evolve
