Come lads, lets not talk silly all developing goalkeepers drop howlers as do 95% of experienced keepers.

I'm not going to make **** excuses to try and justify him leaving. He's a cracking goalkeeper, a model pro and I for one am gutted to see him leave. We better have agreed a cut of the future sell on fee.

Good job we have goalkeeping class throughout the ranks. In Westwood I trust!

Said 11m plus on talk ****e. Westwood will come straight in the lad is quality and was bought as our no.1 and Gordon s replacement. Migg just kept him out on form. We have no worries between the sticks. Need to spend the money on a quality striker or creative goal scoring midfielder.

I can't remember goalkeepers like Begovic making howlers like Mignolet made last season. plus am not making **** excuses because he is leaving mate, I always said he was abit overrated. just my opinion tho & I wish Mignolet the best of luck.

one of the shakiest goalkeeper displays I've seen was Westwood at MK Dons and note he didn't play again in the cup games. I'm not convinced he's good enough.

If you remember, Westie was playing well & then got the flu. Mig came in & Westie never got his place back.

I'll be gutted if we only get £9m for him, he's worth at least £14m.

Several journalists saying 11m, sky saying 11m, the fee will be undisclosed though. Westwood is definitely good enough as a replacement imo, I say bring in a deputy for Westwood and spend the rest on a striker

mig is the best keeper we have had up here in many a year. he made some wonder saves last season and kept us in quite a few games and quite possibly kept us up. he has played behind a ****e defence and still managed to keep a fair few clean sheets. anyone who thinks hes ****e cant have been watching the same lad. i think 11 million is a fair deal considering we would lose him for 5 ish if we kept him another year. if he had a couple of more years on his contract he would definatly be 15 million +. he can go with his head held high knowing he did a good job for us and will always receieve a warm reception at the sol

Billy - He's more dominant in the goal box & with game time, the shot stopping will be as good as Mignolet. At 28 Westwood's got plenty of time to become a legend with us if he remains fit. He plays the ball out from the back as well which means we won't be throwing the ball straight back to the opposition as often. Mignolet only started that just prior to Christmas!

I know it's irrational and pathetic, and I usually don't partake in such uncouth behaviour, but I F*****G hate you lot right now. Selling the best goalkeeper in the league, to F*****G LIVERPOOL??? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR F*****G MINDS? FOR £9 MILLION? ARE YOU F*****G JOKING???

This is an absolute travesty of the game.

its player power really though its not the club. if hes not going to sign a new contract then this is the only window to get a decent amount of wedge for the lad. as his contract end gets closer his value goes down. if we were to hold onto him for another year we would probley get half of what were going to get for him now
