"Swansea will have to pay the Andalucian outfit a compensation fee of around £425,000" that's a good deal! Pozuelo had been previously linked with big money moves to Manchester United and Barcelona after first bursting onto the Spanish scene two years ago. But his appearances were restricted last term, partly due to a row over his contract at Betis with the club claiming he had triggered an extension and the player claiming he was free to leave. Maybe a bigger bargain than michu!
Looks a good deal to me. 29 appearences for a side that finished 7th in La liga, for £425,000. Not bad going. Lets hope it is true.
More importantly that he has a midfield relationship with Canas. With Leon, Ki, Canas, Pozuelo, Kemy and possibly JDG, we have a tremendous strength in the CM area. A couple of strikers, a winger that can cross and another centre half and we can have another good crack at the league and Europe next season. Huw, get that checkbook out
