I didn't expect you to give me an easy time. There's maybe one mistake in there and that's when the ball moves one way and then the other at the beginning. There's a range of goals in there, headers, penalty, shots of a different range, latching on to a loose ball, latching on to a through ball. All hit very well and with confidence. Are you telling me Rooney, Van Persie, Suarez etc don't capitalise on keeper error? You have to be in it to win it.
Rooney or van Persie he ain't... He occasionally finishes quite well, both with his feet and his head(as long as he don't have to leave the floor), but there's at least there on there that even Gulacsi would have saved.
Not sure, I don't think he's far behind van persie in terms of talent, I think it's more mental/physical that he needs to sort out if he's going to get on over here.
Even I am not as foolish to ever believe that. However, my point was that even the best strikers need goalkeepers to make mistakes to score goals at times and had he not shot or headed or whatever, he would not have scored. Even Schmeichel (senior) made mistakes...
The one thing that stood out for me was that he was happy there, unlike what he looked like for us. I never saw him smile or really join in the team celebrations when he scored for us, wonder why?
On Curtis Davies - if Bruce can get him motivated he could be a bargain at the price quoted - undeniably talented.
It would have been ever so boring. At least we know the outcome now when we watch that game back. CLASSIC TV VIEWING the world enjoyed. Put Hull City back in the big time and got us noticed once again. Agreed. He deserves that much imo. Well if the reports are to be believed it is Curtis Davies who is driving this move. He wants to play for Steve Bruce again for starters.
I guess the picture with Curtis Davies smiling must mean he is happy to be here. Maybe he also prefers Hull lunchies more than DJ Campbell.?
Seems a decent lad http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...b-player-Aston-Villa---West-Brom-bad-guy.html
A very fair assessment. Some of the chaps at The snooker club feel the same actually. Just as long as it's Heinz Big Soup. Dont mind the tomato either. Best news of the day so far. His best days are behind him.
Daily Mail are so poor, 1st picture is of him at Lester not Brum and 2nd picture Villa are playing Ipswich not Lester...
All went smoothly im guessing and he's signed a 3 year deal. Reason for me thinking this is that there is a 4 minute exclusive interview with him on the Tigers Player app
I don't think Matty Fryatt has ever played for Ipswich... EDIT: Didn't realise he's eligible to play for Sierra Leone? Maybe him and Rosenior could get their first call ups together...
Haha yeah, that was when Leicester were in League 1, I think they played Villa in the Cup. The Topps Tiles kit was quite funny, they're a local firm I think and many fans I spoke to were a bit annoyed that they weren't attracting a bigger sponsor.
