Hi guys,

I've been speaking with Patti and Deon and we've decided that September 14th would be ideal to be the day where we celebrate the memory of Brix, both David and Deon were born on the 16th. We are home to Birmingham that day unless, of course, Sky decide to get involved.

Everyone should be back from their holidays by then, how does that suit folk?

Sounds good roller. Unexpectedly, I'm off to Moscow to work for a while, maybe a month, maybe three. Am aware that I promised that work would not get in the way of this meet up, so I'll hope it's two.

The only sticking point will be if Sky decide to show this match live. I don't know when they are due to release their schedule.

We have 2 home games in 3 days, V Birmingham 14th September and V Brighton 17th September. Think I will take in a mini 3 day break and cover both games.

 

Any chance that we could arrange a 5 aside or 7 aside game of footy that morning. Something simple like over 30s or over 35s.

Sorry, wont be there (yeah i know you're all really gutted!) but being as i too was born on the 16th, the Aussie boys over here wil raise a glass or 10 to the great man on that date.

 

Would love to be there - if I was to make a road trip from Canada to participate in the get together and catch these two home games, what would the availability of tickets & cost likely be?

I have an old school chum, an architect in London, who last time we were in contact had a flat in the City, so accommodations should not be a problem. So really just the air flight cost, for which I might be able to use travel points.
