I have a black brother in law and they are black men. Not coloured, brown, dark etc. They are black as we are white.
It would seem to me anybody refering to a black guy as coloured is trying there hardest not to offend . But it is a dated term and some people jump on it just to point this out .
Most black folk I've met & I've met plenty prefer black than coloured. We all know the main racist terms...........................but. What about words like paddy to an Irishman, Jock to a Scotsman, Taffy, Wop etc, etc. Are these racist or acceptable? Because I don't know anymore. Sometimes folk are frightened open their mouths in case some pc ****ing do-gooder gets upset at something that's **** all to do with them.
