Well, that has thrown the cat amongst the pigeons Japan 3-3 Italy, Okazaki header Italy made the schoolboy error of making a sub before a corner... As bad as the Brazil Mexico game was, this has been its opposite. Brilliant match.
"balotelli is like a kid in the playground... As soon as he feels the arm on him he stops demanding the free kick" better than diving on the floor!! Idiots
A bloke who is clearly Dutch has just come on for Japan. Well, if Germany can get away with playing Turks and Poles...
How the **** did that not go in? Hit the post and then the bar in the space of a second? This game is fantastic, it is literally end-to-end.
What a superb game of football this is, and most of the credit goes to Japan who are giving Italy a lesson in attacking football. They deserve to win this easily.
Un-****ing-believable! Japan 3-4 Italy, Giovinco tap in You have to hand it to them, they've taken their chances whereas Japan haven't. Even though Japan do deserve to win this.
FT Italy 4-3 Japan One of the finest games of football I have ever witnessed. A pleasure to watch into the early hours of a Thursday morning. Brazil and Italy both through to the semis.
Was very impressed with Japan, I can't remember his name but that number 7 is fantastic, the one who got the assist from their 3rd goal (whipped the free kick in) He just keeps them ticking all the time, Honda is impressive too.
That's the whole point, it was fixed to maximise the in-play odds for Italy to win. Agreed. English media are proper stupid when it comes to foreign national teams. When we were about to play them in the last Euros they were all going on about Balotelli and how he was their main threat, despite that he was having a ****e Euros up to that point and wasn't even that good for Man City, all the Italians were pointing out that Pirlo was the real threat not Balotelli. The game comes, Pirlo rips us a new one and suddenly they all knew he was ace all along and since then they haven't stopped going on about him!
Erm ok? Really really enjoyed the Japan v Italy. Has to go down as one of the greatest games i have viewed. Had it all for me.
He was born in Japan. According to most on here, that makes him Japanese, much as Danny Welbeck is 'English'. I disagree.
