He probably didn't realise he'd done it himself. Still a **** match. Hopefully Japan vs Italy can be better.
Not going to be smug but I feel Neymar will continue to prove me right at Barca. He was the best player on the pitch by a country mile yet again tonight and was, quite frankly, the difference between the two teams.
One game really isn't going to change our opinions. Though he was the best player in a pretty poor match with a couple of flashes of brilliance.
Well even if you only if you've only watched the last few days, it's 2 games where he's stood out as head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch. Not suggesting you should base your opinions on 2 games but most people's entire view of Neymar seemed to be based on 3/4 games so they're knowledge of him should've expanded around 50%. Think if this is 'bumped' in a few months people may think I was right, or maybe they'll say it's just because of the players around him at Barca and he'd be **** if he played for Stoke, like they do about Messi.
Who was the poster who derided me on this very board around a year ago ahead of the Euros for saying that Neymar is better than Rooney? I remember him claiming I based my decision on playing FIFA (something I've never played). Bit funny now all of a sudden he's signed for Barca and he's been on British TV everyone is ****ing about him. I wonder if they'll be man enough to own up?
Bloody hell Japan look a really decent international side now. After 7 minutes they're all over Italy like a cheap suit.
1-0 Japan If the ref gives the pen, he has to send him off - but he gets a yellow. It wasn't a penalty at all as well.
Brilliant - Japan 2-0 Kagawa I can't remember Italy being so comprehensively outclassed in 45 minutes of football. If it was a boxing match, the ref would have stopped the contest. Really impressed by Japan.
