I'm so excited...please explain.... Last year was awful, in so many ways. The football was awful, we never tried. The whole season we bounced from one catastrophy to another. ........ and Brix passed away None of the team cared, it did not seem the manager(s) cared Nothing has changed.... we have the same group of no hopers that we had. But I am excited by 9.00am...I want to see them play again....I have a feeling it will be different (based on the evidence of....nothing). I have come back to the board looking for snippets of information (and for the pub quiz), I have looked at videos of Adel's and 'goals of last season. I am hoping and praying the matches I want to go to fall correctly. I hope the first one is at home and winnable. Is this what they call "The Triumph of the human will" or am I just stupid...answers on the back of a postcard please. PS will be changing my sig during the day to something less gloomy...unless we draw Watford away
Well, it all sounds positively positive ( even I like that one ) ............ and yes, we are all hoping we can snag a win first up ............... that is imperative. With the signing of Danny Simpson, we look like starting on the right note. Probably fair to say that if we can rid the team of some current fodder / freeloaders, we will all feel much better. As with ''qprbeth' comments ............. onwards and upwards.

It is exciting...seemingly all a bit too exciting for the BBC...this is their current fixtures page for us has no September or October, and has us playing our first game against Huddersfield on the 10th of August. I'm sure they will fix it soon...
I'm giving a clean slate to all, it's the only way I can look forward to the this year. So positive vibes coming from this direction.
After the last home game with Millwall, there is no way I will be attending any game against them again, home or away, 3 points needed to go up or not. The atmosphere the last time we played them was very threatening and not enjoyable. I swore then I would never go to see us play Millwall again and I am sticking to it. Bunch of thugs.
I'm finding it hard to get excited and am approaching the season with a very negative mind, after expecting us to challenge for the European spots last season (on paper we should have done). I'm sure once we start to get some positive results and positive performance from the players, my mind will change.
Don't be negative, Stamford. You have us here on the forum to share your highs and lows with and let's not forget to mention the local bottle shop ........ for medicinal purposes, of course.
Am devastated there's no weekday fixture when I visit in November... My silver lining to relegation was an impending trip to UK for a wedding - not one midweek game in the time I'm there and Reading away kicks off just after my niece's wedding in Bristol
