So far we've not been too busy in terms of negotiating our youngsters going out on loan for next season, but the papers are beginning to look at possible loan moves for young Anfield prospects.

The first on the list appears to be Andre Wisdom, being courted by Fulham to fill the boots of Chris Baird - linked to the Baggies.

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-transfers-andre-wisdom-wanted-1960887

Not sure what to make of this, given the lack of sources in the story. Would Andre benefit from a full season at Fulham, or continuting to get 15 games a season at Anfield? And who else do we think might be making a temporary move away to get pitch time? Who would we want to see and where?

    Over to you, guys...

  2. I think Wisdom going on loan to Fulham would be great so long as he get at least 25+ games.

He will only get games at RB for us which is okay but won't help with injuries etc.

I think loaning Wisdom is a good call. I'd also consider loaning Suso, Morgan and Coady

I would prefer Wisdom to stick around. Especially with a the changes happening in our defense. We dont know how the new comers will settle.

Wisdom had a very good season and I prefer him at RB to Kelly as he is more athletic. Though I want Kelly at CB.

Is no-one concerned that we are a bit thin at the back and one of those who could fill in at CB is being mooted as a loanee?

For Coady and Morgan, fully agree, so long as the loan gets them games at top level somewhere. Less sure about Suso, but he does need to play to develop, and with all the talent we're supposed to be bringing in - Mkhitaryan, Aspas, Luis Alberto - its going to be difficult for him to force his way into contention.

I wonder if a decent championship team or even lower PL team would like N'Goo on loan after his success at Hearts.

Agree with all of this, even though he's only 20 Wisdom was very impressive last season and
not out of his depth at all.He seemed assured on the ball and his physical strength is obvious.
Positionally may need to improve, but I want to see him doing that at LFC rather than elsewhere.
Worthy back-up for GJ at RB,option at CB also.

look guys do you want to make a squad player out of him or a star. if this guy get 30 games under his belt playing week in and week out in the prem he will be an absolute star in a couple of years. I am utterly convinced of his credentials in this respect.

we simply MUST do this more and not think about what ifs. what ifs paralyse decision making sometimes. I think its right, will always be right even if 6 defenders get ebola and drop off the face of the planet for us.

I would also loan suso out to get him games. I would target morgan at a 3 monther but for coady and robsinson and even mclaughlin i'd want as much real hard football under thier belts as i could get.

I agree, we need to have these lads playing and with no Europa Cup they wont get the chance with us.

What happens with the under 21 league and NexGen if the talented youngsters get loaned out?

They survive without them? Not qutie sure the argument here! Surely going out on loan and playing first team football is much better than bloody nextgen or u21?

There isn't an argument. I didn't put it very well, what I meant was can they still play in nexgen and u21 if they are loaned out because that gives valuable experience as well.

Oh I see what you mean! It's a good point, I assume not, if the new club are paying his wages they will want to play him whenever they want and not have him playing for us?

Send him out. He'd grow so much as a player with 25+ games in the PL notched up, especially in a mid to lower table team where he'd be playing regularly against top players and having alot of work to do defensively. Ideally he'll be in at CB, but most likely he'd be at RB - and probably not first choice at Fulham.

Suso needs a loan to get game time. He's got the ability, he needs to learn how to find time and space in the PL because although stronger than he looks, he's still young and slight. Technical players need to get gametime to use their ability to their advantage.

Coady maybe a championship loan, same for Morgan unless BR sees them as bench options like Suso/Sterling last season.

Contoversial also, but I'd be happy to see Sterling go out on loan like Welbeck, Sturrige or Wilshere have done in the last few years. Game time will be massive for him and he won't get as much here - especially without Europe. Alberto can take the 'young but talented forward' spot on the bench.

I'd only let them go out on loan to premier league teams though. Suso getting game time in Spain or Italy is not much use, he needs to get used to the rigours of the Prem. Wisdom and Shelvey the same.

  16. I'd prefer a player to get prem experience over NextGen

Wouldn't mind Wisdom going if Kelly is fit. If not then we don't have any cover at RB for Johnson or competition for him.

In my view the foreign young players (Suso, Teixera) should go out to a lower Prem or high Championship team to get more experience of competitive English football, and the young English/British players (McLoughlin, Coady, Lloyd James) go to some decent team in a foreign league (France, Spain, Germany) to get experience playing against teams who are trained in a different way.

This would give both sets of players a view into the different culture.

Loan moves aren't always positive experiences. They must go to clubs that play similar styles and need the player. We can't send him to Fulham only to be benched because they're facing relegation and need experience.

They can be relegated which forms feelings of inadequacy. He can get injured due to their training programs. He can not play well and lose hope. He can be forgotten by the fans and even the manager.

Dani Pacheco has played his socks of in the second Spanish division yet half of you probably don't remember him at this point. We've signed his replacements for the academy and he lost all hope of coming into the first team.

Spearing was supposed to go and become a more resolute player at Bolton, and learn a lot. Some of you expected him to come back a better player yet he's staying there. Players tend to match their level to the club they are at (tell that to Downing) and unless that club is playing top level footie there is no point to the loan.

Suso on loan to Crystal palace for a year would be perfect for me. They have a knack of doing well with young players. Id send Tex a similar way.

Ngoo should go somewhere he will get game time in the Premier league/High championship. Palace or Bolton maybe.

I would prefer to see Wisdom with us and kelly out on loan as I think Wisdom is a far superior player

Think that's a bit harsh. You haven't seen Kelly for a good while. He's an excellent player and will make a superb CB. Possible future captain.
