Ah, got ya, but we still won't sign another No.1, so it's still a no(not unless McGregor turns out to be a disappointment).

Just need McGregor to sign, and according to Daily Fail he's on holiday.

Then we can sort out our No.2.

Can't see Forde coming as a number 2 at his age. Moore would be a better option behind McGregor.

Are we actually interested in them, or are they who you'd like?

We are apparently interested in Forde, but as Strov says, he might not be keen on coming in as a No.2 and Moore might be an easier deal to secure.

I suspect it will be the latter, SB is said to be a fan and we were watching him as early as January this year. As he's stepping up from League 1, it's probably best that he serves as an understudy for a couple of seasons to somebody with plenty of experience. Thomas Sorensen would also be good cover on a 1 year deal if we have a long term target in mind.

If none of the above happens, I can see it being a loan goalkeeper; Mannone, Etheridge, Westwood etc.

Keep hearing a few people say 'why pay more for KS when we can get AM much cheaper?', but id rather just see us spend a little bit more to get Kasper in. Yes AM has the experience but i think KS could become a quality prem keeper. KS is a number of years younger than AM who is 31? I already think he is the better keeper and he will only get better and when he does another club may come in for him for us to make a profit on him. Makes sense to me.

Surprised you say Kasper is a better keeper. I think McGregor looks better.

I grant you Kasper may have potential, but we need the one who is best now, not in a couple of years time.

This season is vital to us.

Lesta want £3m for KS at least.

I would rather have Mcgregor at £1.8m
And Simon Moore for say £1.5m
And have two for the price of one.

I'd rather have AM then pay over the odds for KS! And spend more on someone to hit the onion sack! Goal scoring chances only come along a couple times in a game! We need to spend where it matters!
