Pleased that Di Fanti is working his arse off for the club. Even if we see 30% of them come through we will always make money from the rest we move on. Great business model this.
Have to agree 100% with you there mate. These great vibes around our club at the moment are simply awe inspiring !
Can we send players on loan in their first season? Or do they have to stay on loan with the team they're signing from for a loan to be allowed in the first season? If the model is anything like Udinese we're going to have half a dozen youngs out on loan every season.
Players cant play for more that 2 clubs in a season I think. So he can be loaned out because he wont play for more than 2
Cheers lads. In that case I can see us bring in 12 or 13 players this summer with the likes of this lad and Ba and other young uns going straight out on loan. Think over the coming years we're going to make a lot of profit on players who'll never wear a first team Sunderland shirt.
Agreed. It makes sense to have an income stream that you can develop and exploit alongside the main business of the club. Should help with balancing the books and providing money for more quality players as the club progresses. The added bonus is that you unearth some real gems that join the first team. Makes complete sense to me and gives me faith in the direction Ellis is taking the club.
http://www.ifkgoteborg.se/Nyheter/2013/Juni/DMK-till-Sunderland/ TRANSLATED :- Assuming that the compulsory medical examination goes through, IFK Gothenburg left footed striker David Moberg Karlsson changing environment and address. From IFK Göteborg and headlines to Sunderland in the Premier League. - It is obviously huge for David and IFK eyes have seen evidence of what we're doing good. That a club in one of the four major leagues in Europe choose to tie up one of our players is a testament to our business, says sporting director Håkan Mild. DMK came to IFK Gothenburg from fellow compound in Mariestad summer of 2010 and debuted the following year in the blue and white first team. Overall it has become a 47-team matches and eight goals for the left-footed striker. - We really want to wish him well and welcome you back, continues Håkan Mild. Sunderland AFC is trained by Italian Paolo Di Canio and the team are, among others, the Swedish text-landslagsmannen Sebastian Larsson. The club finished in 17th place, just above the relegation this season.
We are going to have some pool of players to pick from - Have this amount of players will also give you trade off powers when wanting to sign players from other club. The above predicts 12 or 13. I will stick my neck out here and say more towards the 20 mark. If we get 4, 5 or even 6 player for next term I'll be well happy. I think I'm falling in love with Di Fanti..... Lol Kinnear has this sort of power, anyone will speak to him.... My arse!!! He hasn't got a clue what's going on in the football world. I would love to have Di Fanti up against Kinnear in a top trump match off.

Sweet. I consider 'The Udinese Model' approach to be well and truly under way. Can't wait for it to start showing results.
