Whiffle - been on the CCFC official site since 9 am pal. The Beeb are somewhat slower to react to things.
Not a bad opening game for you lot and your run in isn't too bad but dont leave it to the last game when you play Chelsea - enjoy your season
Can see that game as being a winner takes all for the last Champions League spot P.S. That was written with a massive amount of sarcasm before our cousins down west start
What happened to the Sunday fixtures this season? Apart from a few mid week games and the last game of the season being on a Sunday there are no Prem games on a Sunday. Will Sky rearrange the fixtures to suit them?
It would be more accurate to label them "the weekend commencing...". The fixture list gives you the order, but the exact date will be confirmed later. We play Europa Leage on Thursdays, so a lot of our games will be Sunday/Monday.
First home game, i am on a Royal Navy reunion in Southampton, therefore my wife has kindly volunteered to take Tom to see them play Man City.....Gutted. I do agree we do seem to have a favourable run un. However the whole fixture list just looks a bit scary at the moment. Cant wait for the Circus to begin though.
Me too Ronny, 1st team I look for the score of after Cardiff. I've been to the Lane a few times back in the time of Gilzean , Chivers, Perryman and the like
SD, My family had old friends in Tottenham, they were all Arsenal fans used to go up 2 or 3 times a year, (early '70's) mostly in the summer months but still managed to get to a few Spurs games.
Summary - we get Manyoo, Man City and Arsenal home and away completed by the end of January- points to be picked up in Feb, March and April! Just hope we're not well below the crap pack by end of January. If we're not, I'd be confident of picking up enough points in the last quarter of the season.
