A supposed leaked list on twiiter has us away to Everton for the opening game of the season. Meanwhile Cardiff are are away to Spurs.
Trouble is there is more than one Twitter leak - both with different fixtures! Depending on which you believe (if either) we are at home to Liverpool or away at Arsenal for the opening game! TWT
The football league have already announced a few games of historical interest (its their 125th anniversary) ahead of schedule including Newport County v Accrington Stanley at Rodney Parade (the leagues newest ground). This could mean that Cardiff city will play their opening premier league game away (being nearest to Newport) and therefore we could have our first opening day home fixture at the Liberty for several years. Scrub that...just realised that football league games kick off two weeks earlier than premier league...but might still apply if County have a home game two weeks later.

I hate it when Embedding is disabled by the user. It means you have to go to Youtube to see the clip and before you know it your watching Patrick Stewart chastising James Corden at the Glamour Awards or a Camel spider eating a Lizard.
So the first game is actually Man United at home. And we don't meet our friends down the road until the 2nd of November at their gaff. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/fixtures
Much better run in than last season with our final 7 games being Norwich H Hull A Chelsea H Newcastle A Villa H Southampton H Sunderland A So if we can get to 40 points before the above then Bob's your mothers brother
This is possibly a good fixture for us. Would rather play them first than after 7-8 games, as hopefully with a new manager it will take them a game or two to get going.
Looks like we desperately need to hit the ground running. Hopefully starting in Europa early will give us that chance. Chelsea on Boxing Day and Man City on New Years.

August and September are bloomin' nasty though: Man U - H Spurs - A West Brom - A Liverpool - H Crystal Palace - A Arsenal - H It might be a good time to get the bigger teams - when they're warming up. Still, the only ones you'd liek the look of are West Brom and Palace - and they're both away. I envisage a wobbly beginning, people will lose perspective and fret, the Welsh (Cardiff) media will smell blood and try to wind the fans and Laudrup up, and then we'll build and get back up. I envisage a bit of patience being required.
