Saw Vinnie boy out at dinner tonight. While I was loading up my plate at the desert buffet I caught his eye and gave him the Leeds salute. Got a big grin and a thumbs up back! Should've asked him to drum up some Hollywood investor cash for the club.... Doh!

He's at the Grove in Watford. I know he's originally from up the road in Bedmond but figure he maybe filming as the Warner Brothers Leavesdon studio is nearby.

King Vinnie is best mates with a friend of mine, shoots regularly on his farm. Got him to sign a poster of his tackle on the Leeds mascot. Last time we had a chat was at Windsor races, but haven't seen him for a couple of years. I can tell you this ... he loves Leeds above all other clubs, felt it was his best period in football. Yes, even above the Wimbledon FA Cup period. He said Leeds fans were the best in the world, and if you perform as a player at Leeds and play your hardest every week, the love you feel from the fans is unbelievable. What I'd give to have a Vinnie Jones in our team today!!

Vinnie was a gem for his time just what Wilko needed to whip up the troops when we were in the trenches. I even seem to remember Cloughie sticking up for him when some journo slagged him off. Clough compared him favourably with Frank Clark for his effect in the dressing room.

Yeah, always 100% need a player or two like him and add some flair players to drive us back to the premier league
