I dont see why both of us cant push for it, thats not saying that I think either us will get it from the league. Man U Chelsea Man City Arsenal Liverpool Spurs will be the top 6 next season (in no particular order) top 4 speaks for itself really, Liverpool had a bad start last season, but gained momentum and i can see them carrying that on next season, Spurs had CL football to contend with and they still finished in the top 6, so without that they will be stronger in the league, so will be even harder to catch. Everton/Villa are the next 2 down, Everton always start slow so if we can start fast and more importantly keep it going throughout the season, we should finish above them, Villa if they keep young and downing may be a force to be reconed with, but if they go we can easily pip them in the league. Its nice to aim high, and no its not deluded, why shouldnt we aim high, but getting there is a lot harder than some are making it out to be.
I think Fulham are in that mix these days. But none of that trio are any better than us (injuries aside). What I want to know is who are the Tag Queens on this forum? Frkn hilarious
I personally have no idea how Fulham are as high as they are. I think they've had a lucky season and it's simply down to some matches fortunately going their way for them. After all, the difference between where they are now and some of the lower places was only a few points. It's why I think this whole seasons results is nowhere near a true representation of the quality in each team. Their squad is razor thin and it's ageing rapidly - with Duff, Hughes, Murphy, Zamora, Salcido, Johnson, Greening and Gera all 30 or above. Players like Paintsil and Hangeland are 29. Their squad is thin and they rely on a few key players to keep them going (plus Mark Hughes is doing a pretty good job). I don't think their spell in the top 10 will last very long though.
We should have tonked them away from home during our 'better spell' of the season - they were there for the taking and we didn't really put it together, whilst looking like a far better team. I think they're vulnerable, as are Blackburn if they lose Samba.
3rd largest stadium and 3rd highest home support in the entire country Top notch facilities and stadium A nice place to live (compared to some of the places players could live in other teams) A reputation in Europe for our history A really good reputation in France for how we handled Ben Arfa Decent wages Ashley's willingness to play up-front in cash for players Some strong ambition So yeah, we must be a pretty attractive club to play for compared to some.
It's the little things like that which put them as high as they are imo. Next season they won't be so lucky.
1) Worst view in British football for away supporters. 2) Reputation counts for nothing unless you have actually won something. 3) Now that would be something.. 4) Strong ambition? Very debatable...
You're just mad because when we actually get the opportunity, we can try and push for it. Face it we have a much better foundation to build on
Am I missing something here? As far as I know you have been linked to certain players etc, but nothing more...However, your delusions of grandeur shouldn't really come as any surprise: that is something which you are genuinely renowned for!
Are you now trying to say that your "opinions" count as proof? I gave my opinions on Lady Boy's opinions, but I would never suggest that they stand as proven evidence...
You just like talking ****ing ****e on purpose, don't you? 1) Worst view in British football for away supporters. - Top notch stadium and facilities. Who gives a **** about views? Worst clutching at straws I've ever heard . Stop talking ****e. 2) Reputation counts for nothing unless you have actually won something. - Reputation counts for a lot on the European stage whether you've won or not. It's why some teams can attract better players whilst other teams can't - regardless of what they've won. Stop talking ****e. 3) Now that would be something.. - It's been declared numerous times because we received the Carroll cash up-front. Stop talking ****e. 4) Strong ambition? Very debatable... - We're spending £20-25million+ and want to reach as high as possible. Stop talking ****e. For once, just once, try and be a mackem who can participate in a constructive conversation instead of acting like an absolute idiot and making an arse out of yourself 24/7. I mean christ. If Shameless can participate with a few fair-minded and constructive posts, surely you can? Unless you really are THAT stupid.
