He's a versatile player and I suspect he will be the long term replacement for Gerrard. As already mentioned, his late runs into the box are well timed and he's a tidy finisher. In addition, he can play deep (Alonso minus the long range passing), CM or AM. He has good pace and can drive forward, and his tackling is pretty decent as well. the echo is being cautious with it so i doubt he is travelling but we'll see. If we are going to get in quikc before someone else steals in then i hope the guy has not got a greedy agent. If he does move to us it could be a "good sign" as he's not just out for big money
