I am a crazy Motorsport fan and my highlight of the year is the Nurburgring 24, as much as love the Swans this is the single event I consider the greatest in sport.... But that's my opinion only! Jäger, sorry about yesterday, I see you like F1... How I about I make up by saying I formally invite you (and everyone else) to join me in watching next years event. Practice on a Thursday, Qualification takes place on Fridays, Top 40 then plays off for starting places on Saturday, Race starts Sunday 2PM and finishes Monday 2PM, Drinking madness everyday trackside, German crazy BBQs everywhere everyday, random live music bands around the track everyday, women in teeny shorts and bikini's all around the track if warm weather, over 175 cars on a 17 mile long track! Even if ppl hate Motorsport there is the women, BBQs, booze, music, parties and ridiculous atmosphere created by half a million people pitching tents wherever and whenever across the worlds biggest race track with the most race cars in a single enclosed track. It is insanely good!
Sorry to invade yet another thread but it's pretty quiet all over the forums. I've been watching the NBA finals, I'm not an American sports fan other than this one, it's a fantastic sport if you haven't watched it give it a try.
No worries mate, all forgotten would love to come there never been to Nurburgring but would love to have a look, and if there are birds and booze involved count me in lol , but I only window shop on the female front
I think we'll adopt the pair of you All welcome, but seeing as you two support Man Utd and Liverpool no throwing pies at each other
Good courses there return. Take plenty of balls for Clyne. You should play Pennard further down the Gower, beautiful views and a cracking course.
Yeah my mate said the same, he lives in Swansea. Only issue with pennard is its very difficult by all accounts. Plus it's part of a package deal. Is pennard the course by the three cliffs beach? Went there at the end of last summer to take the dog swimming for the day.
Pennard is unforgiving in the wind. 16 & 17 are par 5's 16th right by Three Cliffs then a long par 4 to 18. I was a member their for 4 years, another course where you need plenty of balls. Fairwood's a nice course, it runs along side Clyne on the last couple of holes. Bit more forgiving being a parkland course. You enjoy!!!
I was brought up in a motor racing home and an uncle of mine won the TT. I personally love martial arts, as a child in London I attended a Ju Jitsu Club however on returning to Swansea, I had to study Judo and Karate separately. I also enjoy Rough Shooting and Archery. Oh and of course there is the crossdressing, spanking and sadomasochism after evensong !
FFS Did you train with Peth? I am a Lido boy and would pop across many a time to show them how its done !!
I came across him now and again, I first started with Mr Tyler at Northampton Lane then at St Helens, which was BJA I also used Neath YMCA which was AJA. When Peth started out at the Old Leisure Centre I went a couple of times but then there was the unfortunate accident when the young lads leg got broke and lets say my enthusiasm for that class waned very quickly. A Lido boy you say, I was a regular at that venue with a certain Mr. Nobletts class.
MotoGP Wish Cal had a factory ride. IMO, Crutchlow + Factory Honda/Yammy = Podium Love rugby too but can't watch it 'live' anymore. Too many results decided on which pocket refs whistle is in. Too many decisions made depending on interperetation and not what actually is goin on. Todays Lions game, the ref [the French cnut] was utterly useless and his officiating at the breakdown and scrum was a crime.
