This is the craziest thing about the whole shambles to me, the club have refused to comment so far. Nothing on the website and SSN just reporting they have refused to comment at this stage.

My manic laughter from yesterday at the absurdity of it all has ended. Today is sombre approaching hate filled Seppuku.

 

Thanks Albert for the merge. I grew up in SA with a Toon loving family as best friends, so you lot are my second (painful to follow) club. Ah well, at least I'm not a Scummer or Mackem!!

Toon were always going to have an indifferent season with the UEFA matches (great run btw) and the rumours through first half if Demba Ba going, then the subsequent sale. Really Joker Near, its not rocket science to figure out why the team "failed on the pitch" last season. Then again, he probably watched fcuk all Newcastle games so he's clueless. Joker is joining Toon for one reason only - to REPLACE Pardew as Manager. He stated on Sky that he doesn't have an agenda, which means he does!!!

 

Surely Shearer would be a better advisor to Pardew, up to date with the game and respected?

 

Mind you, even Sexy Ruud would be better than Joker Near!!

 

My worst nightmare was Mark Hughes taking over from Pardew. And, you know, it could still happen.

 

He is not going to depart Stoke so soon. Dennis Wise however..........

 

Has anything been announce by the club yet?

 

Nope. Chronicle are desperately trying to get comment but so far nothing. It's a fcking disgrace.

 

Rumours going around that Pardew has walked, it's probably a load of bollocks because I started them.

 

As an outsider, it looks to me like a blatant attempt by Ashley to get Pardew to chuck all his toys and resign.

Ashley must know now that he cocked-up big time by giving Pardew such a long contract. If he can get him to throw a hissy fit and resign - job done, money saved. I don't believe that he thinks for one minute that Kinnear is going to revolutionise the club. But, if he can wind Pardew up enough...

He has delivered Pardew a blatant and calculated slap in the face. I'm just wondering if what he's done might amount to constructive dismissal - that could be expensive!..

OK< here's my completely baseless theory.

Kinnear was hired by Ashley in some scouting/player recruitment capacity. He is a complete idiot and so announces via Sky that he is the Director of Football. Ashley's solicitors are currently looking at whether they can cancel the contract on the basis of his conduct in doing so.

Wow, i had a weekend of no news and so saw this first thing this morning. Wtf!?

Since then during a busy day i have tried to read all the fantastic posts in this thread. Some very funny quotes by the way.

The strangest part for me was when JFK said he is looking forward to meeting Pardew. Surely if you are going to appoint someone to this role you introduce them to the team as part of the appointment process?

I liked someone's comment earlier about the media team's face's this morning but surely Pardew's must also be a picture? Maybe having heard he stormed up into the media team's office to demand answers. O to be a fly on the wall in that room!

The only positive thing i can come up with is this:

Having taken note of the reason NUFC failed to sign Remy in January Mike Ashely has today appointed someone to fill the obvious gap at NUFC.

Having had a number of years out of the game JFK is well known as a keen player of Fifa on the PS3 and going forward no player will be signed by NUFC without being forced to play JFK on the console of his choice.

On a serious note surely this must be a joke, or at some point a statement must be released by NUFC?!
