Ha ha! it's been their year every year since they won the league championship. They are stuck so far in the past it's scary. I've tried pressing my point on the Liverpool board but they've called my delusional and offered no constructive argument to why it's a step up for him. They just take offence as they think it's an argument about who's the bigger club when it's about what more they can offer the player in the players eyes. Christ, as it stand they can't even offer him a guaranteed starting place, they're so stuck i their past glories that they've no idea how stupid they look.
It's not about his wages doubling, mignolet want's the chance of European football so he can be no 1 keeper for Belgium in the world cup. Therefore he wants to be able to play champions league football & challenge courtous who's been playing that for atletico. It's not speculation mate. It came from his agent that he's happy with us and happy to stay, but if someone who offers european football it would be hard to turn down.

Seriously get your head out of your arse. It's not about our league position in the last 15 years.. It's about Mignolet stepping upto Courtois who's played champions league football. Mignolet wants to be the no 1 keeper for Belgum in the WC so therefore wants to put his best foot forward and play for a champions league team so he can be the no 1 keepper for belgium in the world cup.
